Book Online

You can book your appointment online. It will ask for your card details to reserve your appointment, however, no money will be taken until after your appointment.

You will then receive  booking confirmation with a link to fill in the consultation form.

Fill in the Consultation  Form

The consultation form is quite detailed. It asks about your medical history, reason for treatment and any pain or symptoms you are experiencing. It is important to fill this in as accurately as possible, as all the information depends on your type of treatment.

Covid Form

24 hours before your appointment you'll be sent a covid screening form. This is  just to make sure you aren't experiencing any symptoms. If you feel unwell please  cancel your appointment via your booking confirmation and reschedule  when you feel better. Please note: there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. You won't be charged if you cancel because you're feeling unwell, but you will be charged 50% of the total treatment cost if you don't show.

Appointment

On the day of your appointment, please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible. If you arrive too early you may have to wait in your car as I only have 1 room. If you arrive too late, your massage will still finish on time not for me to be late for my next client.

Consultation

At the start of your appointment, we'll go through your consultation form together. Here we can discuss your treatment needs and goals and together we'll come up with a plan. Taking the time to talk things through ensures the treatment is tailored to meet your needs and to ensure you feel comfortable and confident about your treatment.

Undressing

After the consultation, I will leave the room to allow you to undress and to get comfortable on the massage couch. All your belongings will go into a large lidded box where they will be kept safe. How much you undress will depend on area of treatment and your comfort level. Typically for a back massage people tend to remove their tops and leave trousers on. Its best to wear soft, loose and comfortable clothes. Your modesty will be maintained at all times as you will be covered by large soft towels.

Massage

Before your massage you will be reminded to let me know if the pressure is too light, too soft or just uncomfortable. Client feedback is very important to ensure you get the best treatment as possible. I do not believe in 'no pain, no gain'. My aim is to provide a massage that is relaxing and comfortable.

After the Treatment

Once the massage treatment has ended, I will leave the room to allow you time to come around. It's best to get up slowly as its common to feel a little dozy or dizzy straight after a massage. Once you're fully dressed again,  open the door and I'll come back in. We'll have a short chat about how you found the treatment, and what I found in your muscles.

Payment

Once the massage session is complete I will take payment. If you booked online and entered your card details I can just put it through for you. If you didn't book online, my booking system allows me to take card payments.

Home Care

After your massage it is advised to take it easy if possible for the rest of the day. This gives your body time to recover. A massage has the same affects as a workout at the gym. So it's common to feel a little tender for 24 hours after. This should ease within 2 days. If you have any questions following, please feel free to contact me.
